Like my coworker who complained because they voluntarily came in a half hour early... and subsequently left an hour and a half early. I've been the only person here for about three and a half hours.

I guess I'm just a little salty since the expectations laid out for me in my interview and throughout my employment at my previous mill were: "You come in when scheduled. You keep the mill running. If something breaks at the end of your shift and you're elbows deep in it, you stay and finish it even if your shift technically ended. We're paying you and want the job done right. If you don't do your job, the mill doesn't run."

And it appears that the memo was not passed on to the other millwright or supervisor at the mill I got transferred to. (Same company)

I just saw a lathe for sale locally that was absolutely gorgeous and a decent price that had me considering it.
Made me wonder how you were doing at work, I guess this answers that.

I actually just used our lathe today for the first time in a month. Had to machine a e-clip groove into a shaft on one of those tool posts for the saws.

So here we go. Total weight when it was new was 5726 lbs. Here as it sits in the shop with no oil, control cabinet, and a few feet cut off the legs, it weighed in at 2976lbs.
