About the only way I like Pumpkin is Pie and Ice cream!!

If I really needed Coffee and Pumpkin was all they had it would be about the only way.

I will spend the night waiting for the Great Pumpkin I might get lucky this year.

I thought once about joining a weekly (older group) fishing club to kinda have different places
    To go and meet people.
    Fucccck that.
These (older folks) people have 50-60 G boats.
    3-4 G electronics.
    Yea 80 to 130 bucks a week….
Hey I want to putt around at 30mph and maybe throw a 10 dollar bill in the kitty
and laugh at each other and show some fish.
    OHHHH NOOOO..

    Pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving? Absolutely.

I'm not heading out to get a pumpkin spice latte, coffee creamer or Cheetos, though.

I feel the same way launching my jon boat and watching all the bass boats take off like jets. It's ok though, I'm blessed to have a boat and the occasional time to go throw a lure around.

    Absolutely.

One of my best memories is a pre fish at one of my lakes I fish.
All these fancy boats were flying around and some were quite obnoxious.
Yeup way more important than me.
So this guy fished a area I go to for like an hour. Nothing.
    So he moved on.
    I moved in.
Within 5 min I pulled in a real nice fish.
He could have burned a hole in me with his stare. So, the asshole I am, I held it up
And yelled, “ I guess you don’t need a fancy boat to catch big fish”.

I didn't even used to like pumpkin pie as a kid, as I've gotten older and tried it a few more time it's OK.
If there's a choice of anything else besides pumpkin pie, then that's what I'll have.

I'm ok with pumpkin pie if the filling is hard so you can cut it with your fork.
If it is wet and runny --- :puke:

Now a Pecan pie on the other hand :hungry: !

It only has about 1000 calories per slice... :pout:

Haha, all the fancy gear and electronics can definitely distract you from the basics. I find the people who really catch fish around here are the people who have been fishing the areas for the longest. It let's me know I can focus more on learning the areas and the water and the fish than dreaming of the day I have a bigger fancier boat with more toys.

Nothing against the fancy toys either, I hope to be fortunate enough to have them too some day.

Slice? Doesn't everyone portion pies in quarters?

I don't want to know how many calories my piece of pie has lol.

OOPS I thought you went by the Whole Pie!

Since I seldom eat things like that when I get the chance I tend to really indulge.

I got the Chip and Pretzel Bowls( Mixing Bowl size) I think I had them refilled several times Might have been 2 years since I had any I made up for lost time.

    A thing or two...
    ^ This!

My dad and I are the only ones that will eat mincemeat pie. Mom makes one either at Thanksgiving or Chrismas, and we portion it into 6 pieces.
