It's sold as an entire motor assembly, no rebuild kits available. We sent the plant manager halfway across the state for the only one we could find available. Just finished reassembly and it's back out unloading trucks.

 

Be interesting to do a cost-comparison of the replacement unit compared to @six5crèéd cutting you a new gear!

 

The gear was fine actually, it was the splines on the motor shaft, and the bearings+seals inside the motor that took the shit. Could've used the gear over again, but the new motor came with a new assembly so I'm keeping it for a paperweight.

I wish we had a gear cutter, would have come in handy over the years. There’s only one shop around these parts that I know of who cuts gears.

Thx man, it's frustrating to go from doing what ya want to being stuck in a wheelchair and sick as a dog.. I would love to put my work boots on and get out there.
