One thing I miss about the old job is that we had several jerky makers who were always in quiet competition with each other -- there was a lot of "here, try this, this is way better than what _____ makes".
I'm not one to turn down free samples.

 

I suddenly have a hankering for jerky...

A2 tool steel with a full radius in the bottom, now to drill a .069” hole and hopefully come out near the center of the radius, oh and it’s on a 60° angle

 

What cut of beef did you use?

 

Deer It's some from last year I found in the freezer a few weeks ago. I think I had a whole deer sliced in jerky and forgot about it. Oops.

 

.069"? Thats smack dab between a 94 and 95 drill bit....

 

I think I'll go with a #51 or 50

 

Woops, too many zeros to keep straight.

You could use a 1.75mm bit.

Food Lion grocery stores, I remember those. All of ours were bought out or closed down.

 

They built a new one 2 miles from our house a few years ago, they are based here out of Salisbury.

 

Kurt and I had to do the double chuck, close enough.

Morning all.
I've got shop work that needs done but nothing pressing as far as time to finish is concerned.
Right now at computer looking at other work that's coming up, and then have to cover for 2 different guys absent today. One is a safety meeting and the other a brief for emergency response exercise.
