Good Monday morning friends! Hope everyone had a great weekend, I'm wore out so it must have been good. Cole's friend John showed Cole and I how to do a front flip off the dock, I'm too old to be doing that but couldn't let the kids show me up

Sadie caught the smallest fish of the weekend.

If anybody is looking, Harbor Freight has their floor jacks on sale no exceptions, the 3 ton low profile high reach that has a reach of 24+" is 10% off so $180 plus tax. Basically as cheap as it is all year. Ending 8/17 looks like. That model also has a foot pump which makes it easier to get into lifting position.

I got the email saying 10% off for all club members so I guess everyone would get that price if they signed up. Because I don't have a barcode in that email or anything for them to scan.

EDIT: just realized the coupon I got and posted expired yesterday. Not sure if the deal @Hunterdc1 is referring to is the same one. E9AB983E-6B64-42CD-AA09-1EBEA9049720.jpg

They must like me. Mine runs through the 17th :)

Edit: mine says 8/13 and 8/17, seperately. Not like yours that says through. Odd.

So that harbor freight deal is only if you're not an inside track member yet. If you sign up by the 17th you get 10% off. If you're already an inside track member, get hosed basically.

I read it to say existing and new members get it, but only on the 13th and only on the 17th.

2 years ago I had a guy replace the rocker panels on my duramax, $1,850.00

I washed it the other day and noticed the passenger side is rusting under the rear door.

I took these pictures and sent them to the guy. He said it’s the Chinese metal, if I’d pay for a new rocker he’d replace it at no cost :frusty:

I’ve known this guy my whole life, he has his own business and does awesome work but what in the world? I’ve driven it less than 5,000 miles in 2 years.

I did this to my wife’s JK couple weekends ago. Mine got the exhaust spacers so my pan came out no problem…. Thought yours was lifted? Maybe it does have the spacers?

Sadly, and unfortunately, he's probably spot-on. Chinesium comes with corrosion built-in.

No spacers on mine. Just 2.5" lift said it wasn't required. I was skeptical, but the 2.5" from AEV doesn't have them either. Mine is Rubicon Express.
Soooo:rofl:......I just went back to bed for a hour or so, and now going to tackle it.
Talk about a early nap. I will check and see if it looks like it will clear the exhaust by removing the 2 bolts at transfer case and raising it up there. If not then it LOOKS easy enough to remove 2 bolts and loosen 2 bolts in order to lower the exhaust. :fingerscrossed:

Yeah I know, it just stinks as much as it cost to have them replaced. When he got done you couldn't tell it had been touched. I may just let it ride for a while, ugh!!!

Hope the pan has a drain plug.
If not and if that still has a transmission dipstick a fluid extractor makes the job much cleaner.
