Yes lots of milling. We made these from an extrusion before but the customer didn’t want to purchase a mill run again. Had 24 12 foot bars to run last time. They are an inch thick.

It looked small overall but I figured it was worth a guess.

@Wyoming09 wishes everyone well….it’s funny because we had exchanged phone numbers because he asked if my son Christian Could help with some things and possibly learn some tricks about welding like 2 days prior of him being banned…. So I keep in touch that way.

Yeah it definitely doesn't sound like the squeal/chatter of a belt. I've had it 17 years and never really had an issue with it. It does have the top pull filter..if I was to remove the vent hose in the back could I access it that way?

Oh fun..I think there's a nail set in a heating duct of my kitchen

A slide out!?!??? That’ll probably cost you an additional 6k… but if that’s what you want…

Give it a try. See the 90 degree corner in the diagram, you can never tell what has accumulated in there over the years. A shop vac both with suction and blow might help too. Whirlpool dryers are really easy to fix, I had 3 clunkers and made a runner -- more years ago than I care to remember, it is still going.

The only thing that stops them is the motor itself going bad, the plastic fan is threaded on the motor shaft. You can't remove the motor without unscrewing the fan which gets welded on the shaft.

BTW: My Mother Goose tendencies direct me to say -- unplug the dryer before working on it. ;)
