    You can tell that one end has been leaking for a while, it's pitted. He said the head had some pitting as well, said he would still have to double gasket that end probably. Being outside all the time doesn't help them either with the rain running down on it.

    It doesn’t work that way. Lol you would think maybe but, holding something that’s stressed
    flat is way easier to accomplish than having something warped and stressing it flat.

    Yeah, SBC my 1993 warped terribly bad. I made a spreader tool but even then said forget it and bought SS headers with factory dump location.
    I wonder on that manifold if it would have been a idea to slot the bolt holes just a scosch...they warp that bad.
