I had a NOS once when I was at work. I chugged the last 1/3 of the can, drove home and passed out exhausted. Haven't had an "energy" drink since.

Related, because I still find it hilarious after all these years:

Morning creed n crew. I slept in a little today. Took the day off for memorial service, and my brother is in town for it. Virus.
That energy drink ad is great:rofl:
I drink a few a week at least. Diet or low calorie of course to feed the tumoro_O

Hah, I can definitely side with you. My beater has an Ebay special stainless steel exhaust (fart can) setup and header. It's louder than Hell and doesn't go anywhere. It was only $600 compared to something more stock which is around a grand... To make matters worse the cat had to be gutted, so it's even louder. I didn't put it on there so I can't totally be at blame. This is a $2000 car so not quite as a kick in the nuts.

Definitely has that "let me play the song of my people" vibe to it

Nothing like trying to very quietly creep back into the neighborhood at 11:45PM. I do like to be a D-Bag and pipe it on the road outta work

A few weeks back I did a couple "rolls" past friends on the highway. I was informed afterwards that my truck definitely sings the song of its people. I try to get moving as quietly and quickly as I can in the morning when I leave for work. (4am)

Oh yea leaving the neighborhood I have to do a quick 1-2-3 shift to keep it quiet. Worst part is the drone going up the mountain as it's "singing" at 3500 RPM's. Almost have to wear ear plugs at that point  The car is destined for the junkyard at this point so no point in removing it, I'll play around with it in the meantime :D

Probably more energy drinks than I should, though the Bang brand is zero calories.

I freaked out a guy I shot darts with a few years ago, cracked open a 16oz green Monster and took a sip. He said "are you gonna drink that whole thing?" I said "nah sometimes more". He laughed. I chugged the whole can..his eyes got wider and wider. The rest of the night he kept asking me to hold out my hand to see it shake..it never did.

I just got a call, too. From my kid's high school counselor. I don't think I really want to know what it's about.

So the wife drove the daily van to work yesterday -- and broke it..

    KIMG1647.jpg
    Power steering cooler went.
    1) the system doesn't hold much fluid when you are trying to make it across town leaking
    2) the system holds quite a bit of fluid when you take the cooler off which is located under the van
    KIMG1648.jpg
Yep, looks like we found the problem, this is under the van, has a rough life on the dirt road. Did a little fluid film action on the bottom of the van...

    KIMG1649.jpg
2 bolts, 2 clamps, 2 quarts and another mess on the floor to clean up. As far as failures go I'll take it.

I think the last time school called I was in about 7th or 8th grade, I used an old note with my moms signature on it and a piece of carbon paper and signed her name on a failing test. The teacher saw it, looked up at me and I knew it was over. Call mom, not dad, PLEASE :frusty:

I would have been happy to waste time with girls - they just didn't care for me much.
Not sure if it was being poor, my awkwardness, complete lack of athletic ability or my styling by International Harvester...

I grew up in a very rich town, my parents were not wealthy by any means. I was also the town freak with long hair, earrings, ripped metal shirts, ripped jeans. If any of those girls would have dared look at me much less bring me home, their family would have called the police or something.

I went to an all boys high school as well, and Catholic schools all my life.
