Ok,ok, my bad...zoom in on the dial it does indeed look maybe. .0002" under..
I rough guessed 150 pieces in the box so went with 136.
Pressure checked radiator this evening and it held pressure and I couldn't see or hear any leaks.
Dang that's very sad news @Fargo Taco my plane ticket was still kind of expensive being last minute $565.00 but just after I returned I heard something about cheaper rates for loss of family members. You'll be in our thoughts as well as Mrs. Creed & family.

We run a Trumpf laser, Trumpf 18 cartridge high speed punch, and Trumpf press brake. They’re really reliable machines. The laser has the capability to add the tube laser head, but we wise it too much for sheet to give up any of the capacity it currently has.

The night is young, I just may load that cartridge!

I got some time in on the Tacoma today, changed the oil, cleaned the air filter, greased the u-joints, and removed the chipping black badges. I was going to replace them with some black plastic ones I bought, but after all that work I went ahead and pulled the trigger on a set of color matched X-Runner badges to match my truck.
Then I decided to hook up my bumper reverse lights. And now I can melt faces and possibly start forest fires while backing up! :bananadead:

I can vouch for Mitutoyo and Starrett as well, I use tools made by both daily. My boss just got a pair of 36" mitutoyo digital calipers for the shop, very useful.

Agreed, we use both at our shop, I’ve always been interested in trying out some Brown & Sharpe but haven’t yet.

I almost wired in a diode and an on demand switch, but it’d probably get me in trouble. :anonymous:

I'm looking at $500-550 for the flight.

I'm leaning towards driving which means taking the Highlander and leaving the Tacoma for my wife because the hybrid obviously gets better gas mileage.

Figuring on the extreme high end, gas should run less than $450 but then I also wouldn't need to rent a car in Atlanta.

Twenty or so hours of driving versus 10 flying to get there. I assume returning will be about the same.

If you go Fargo through MSP to Atlanta, it should only be like 5.5hrs + 2early tops. Price sounds about right.

But the rental car point does stand. How much is 24 hours RT of driving vs flying worth to you?

I used to always use Brown & Sharpe dial calipers, they are so much smoother than Starrett or Mitutoyo to me. Now I use Mitutoyo digital cause I can’t see as good as I used too and I got a deal on them :)
