3,000 miles in a metal tube with a bunch of strangers.
Through two of the busiest airports in the US. Twice.
Countless times out to eat with people I'm never around.
Some of which are non-mask wearers.

Covid test just came back negative.

Our debarker ate a belt and did it's best Cheech and Chong imitation. This was after two minutes of letting the smoke clear just so I could get in there without inhaling too much. I'll get a pic of the shredded belts in a bit, but after a mad half hour scramble we got it back together and running.

 

Finally got these finished up. Engraved the backs as well, but cropped the pic for anonymity...

I believe so, didn't have much time to look at the new ones due to the rush to install. First time this has happened since I've worked here so it was a flurry of activity. I'm about to go get part numbers to put in an order for more to replace them, so I'll update if I find out.

Edit: Yes, we are using powerbands.

 

No no, that is perfectly normal. Its an after market mod that's called a Brake pre-tensioner. Helps with prolonging the brake pads allowing another 25k before squeaking. It works along the principals of using dowsing rods to find water. There should be another similar on the opposite brake. Trust me, I'm a mekanix.
