For me it's never been the engines that crap out, it's always the pumps. They really don't like sitting there running with no water flow, so I've taken to running a straight hose on mine. No trigger or anything, once that engine is running it's just blasting away.

I found the first start is the factor. I get the water turned on and then squeeze the trigger to get the air out if the lines and pump.. the first one I had I didn’t do that. Hence the second one.

Just got back from our annual camping trip with my younger brother. Had a great time, wouldn’t have been the same without him. 3B0830B4-D632-4DAE-9A71-CDEC85450FC6.jpgDFCD5626-770E-4F2D-928D-5C6302A306B8.jpg

My wife and I talked about the Suburban offer from the dealer and I think we're going to hang onto it for now. One deciding factor for me was a customer came in the store Saturday evening who is a GM mechanic and said he has two 2021 vehicles in his shop with the lifters out of them, whoever made the lifters is having an issue and they can't get any to replace them right now. He said both vehicles have less than 5,000 miles. One is an Escalade, the other is a Yukon I think. I told my wife I don't want to buy another one anytime soon until things settle down and get back to normal.

Family drama time, my dad had knee replacement surgery several weeks ago. My mom brought him to the store last Monday and Tuesday, our son ask him if she could come in and say hey both mornings. He made up an excuse both days as to why she couldn't. Tuesday it was "no, we have to go to town to pick up parts for your uncle" (my brother). My wife told me this so I sent mom a text and ask her to get out of the car and say hey to her grandkids the next time. Well, they didn't come the rest of the week. Dad came this morning and my wife text me and said he came up and insisted on paying for his coffee. Said she had to tell him numerous times no. We haven't charged him for his coffee in years.

    Stop acting like fools.

Sadly this seems all to common .

What is going on Vendors get enough orders sold for a manufacture to make a run then get them built depending on parts supply??

I hope your owner has billed them and has been paid.

The end user needed this for something time related some place the ball got dropped or the need never happened as planned.

Now a pretty Red Boat anchor.

I could see a need with a Cap and it being to high to reach.

I have set mine on the wheel well for years if I get distracted which has happened the cap is still in the bed when I recall and blood returns to my brain.

I had carried a extra fuel cap for years my fumble fingers have been known to drop them and luck dictates it rolls under the center of a very low vehicle who is using the Quicky Mart to grocery shop for the week.

It was from Amazon Warehouse so it was a return from someone else (in like new condition) so they already have it. But for some reason it never moved.

Edit: It's actually still there and it says they have 2.
