In reference to the pole; my place of employment does not. But you know what, I'm gainfully employed in a career situation and they pay me well so every Friday when the direct deposit hits that's bonus enough. Depending on how holidays fall I can swing up to 5 weeks vacation a year, so that's a pretty nice plus. Gotta look at things from a different perspective sometimes :D

I picked up the Highlander on my way home from work.

I brought it in for a few things, one of which is that despite having a 17.1 gallon tank, when the fuel light came on 8 miles away from home on the drive from Georgia, it was only able to put 12.4 gallons in it. Almost 5 gallons, and 120+ miles, is a bit excessive for a safety margin.

The service paperwork says they "performed update for combination meter". Now instead of being at 7/8 of a tank when I fill it, it stayed on empty and doesn't give you a distance to empty number, it just says to fill it. Not much of a fix.

I drove it right back to the dealership and the service manager is ordering... something... but I can't remember what.

Maybe that'll make it go into the negatives.

The cell phone tower next to my work has been having work done to it. Explains why I wasn't getting squat for reception during the day.

I caught just a little bit of the discussion on 5 axis milling and can grasp the different axis functions but have to wonder if the program is going to play that on the screen before you actually turn up the juice see what shakes loose:confused:

My employer does sometimes give awards for ideas that save money or lessen exposure to radiation.
    Heeeyyyy you guyyy's
Then for service anniversaries at 5 year increments.
Sometimes a guy might need a wheel spacer for his Corvette or something, so that's kind of like a bonus too:spy:

Take it for a test ride make sure you have output and full control.

Make sure it will work on the voltage you plan to use it on.[/QUOTE]
I called him today to ask about his lathe and he hasn't set a price on that yet. Another coworker and actually the guy that welded my mower deck for me is interested in the lathe.
And the bad news is he's having second thought about selling that Miller welder.
I may have to work him over some..
I think he'll eventually come around to selling it.
It's really sad actually, a couple things 1) he's trying to downsize and sell stuff off so his daughters don't have to deal with it 2) he's not that old but in such poor health because he lives on a diet of beer from sun up to sundown.

I’d like to have one and I think I could get the wife’s approval, but then I’d have to buy a computer and all the extra’s.

My boss lets me do side jobs and personal stuff, will let me leave if I need to and never says a word. The bonus yesterday was a complete surprise but I am very appreciative of it!

Goodmorning crew. My cousin should arrive shortly and we're going to work on the Corvette some. Then he's decided to buy that Dodge Ram-it ....
So we're going to drag it over to my driveway and get started on dropping the transmission out of it afterwards. That will make 9 vehicles on the premises
I hope he can get lucky and find a good transmission from the you yank it yard.
Another project is I purchased all the gaskets required to do valve covers on that old 4runner.

Guy that bought our camper sent me this picture of the jack yesterday and ask if I ever had any trouble with the switch not working.

Why would you think that, all the duct tape? :anonymous:

In my defense, that plastic is brittle :D

Good morning Shane and friends :hattip:. Have a great Saturday!

It didn’t rain yesterday until late afternoon so I was able to get most of the weeds mowed at the house, got to finish up today.

    :bikewheelie2:Enjoy your weekend!
