So I've heard. The real question is how the 3-5 million paid compared to the revenue lost during the estimated time to fix without paying. Considering its the oil and gas industry, prob a drop in the bucket.

Exactly, I bet the loss tops $18/$25 million if not more. I did read they were able to manually override 70% of the system and were flowing fuel and filling trucks @ a rate of 1.4 trucks in 9 hours when normally took 30/40 minutes per truck.

Day 3 of this for us. My gas delivery company can kiss my ass.

My wife has called them numerous times everyday and all they say is “we’ll see what we can do” meanwhile their trucks are rolling to the big stores. It’s killing us :frusty:

I used T-posts every 6 feet and supplemented with wood posts every 40-50 feet. So I used this T-post clip tool.
But I’ll keep that other tool in mind!

Sounds about right, the upside is the regulators are generally reasonable in both cost and labor -- if you don't buy them from the dealer of course.

This sucks Shane. Seems like everytime there's a crisis big company's get their hand held while the little guys all suffer.

Odd to have a fence like that be a in house project. Definitely isn't robo-welded.

One thing learned here is and all politics aside, this should be a lesson to every one of us. We may have thought we were safe and indestructible, but our infrastructure is fragile and weak...with little hope of getting any better. Best to learn how to fend for yourself...left or right, the government can do little for you in an emergency.
