This literally came up at work yesterday!

We're renovating an outdoor space and they were discussing things for the kids to do besides chase girls and (totally not) drink and getting a quality education. Cornhole, a putting green, this gaga pit and hammocks were discussed.

I was not asked to lay out the gaga pit, though, just the other 3.

It is, I've always wanted one. I had no idea they were so heavy and it's hollow.

It's at work - I'm one of the few engineers here with a basic machining background so I get free reign with the shop to do "home defense" stuff. This one is just a simple teach mill - works mint for everything I need to do with it.

My oldest has the day off so I'm sending him to the UPS store to send back the bed mat then off to Mills to buy me some plumber's putty and peanuts.

Being an engineer and actually having hands on does that influence how you design stuff?

Nothing against engineers at all, I've made some things over the years off of drawings that could have been a lot simpler is all I'm saying.

1000X over this is valuable!! Knowing the capabilities of the machines and how to use them makes it much easier to design stuff!
