You would have only been the second person to ask that in 20 years.

Well I figured something running at those speeds that has replaceable parts would need some form of balancing.

What I thought for a second at yellow, orange red suggestion; I mean that's what I thought was jokingly being implied.

I guess that was something I figured out early on, millwright days. I did work for Local 1974 for 3 years before getting hired on as a machinist at the power plant I work at now.
Nuclear is embarrassingly expensive even compared to your natural gas.

Nuclear is a total different animal. Wish we had a lot more nuke plants out there.

I wish there were as well. I also think the cost of generation of nuclear power could be reduced substantially if only they settled on one or two designs, made the darn things with maintenance in mind whilst in the design phase and not a after thought. I think the more green energy is pushed the better the chances of Nuclear powers survival.
Maybe these new AP1000'S will be better.
Another thought is if mankind survives long enough to diminish all the other resources used for fuel, there will be nukes.

My biggest qualm with nuclear was the waste but now they can make batteries out of it that'll last for like 13000 years.
