I have 2 of those... Roombas, too, and somehow they leave a bigger mess than they clean up. They might be defective.

 

I had to remove 2 plugs in that condition from a coupling hub. Tap drill diameter then easy out worked great for me. The longer taper style if you got one.
I'm not sure what type apple that was but it was surprisingly good for as long as they been in the refrigerator. Most likely genetically modified and totally counter productive to better healthedit and laboratory grown

 

I drove a 5mm Allen wrench in it and it stripped out too. Had to take it apart

Ring 2 chucked up and making chips! I'll post a better picture of that easy out later. I didn't give it much thought until recently, as far as some styles working better in certain applications.

 

All that work to get that plug out to add this sensor to make this light come on to tell me the filters need changing

Been a few years I miss my Dog still tend to forget drop something on the floor look later it is still there.

A couple months ago a supplemental help that's been here for me the last 12 years during shutdowns, he and I tooled up to go take these plugs out. I drill the holes then ask him for easy out, he tries to give me the square one, me and my wisdom says no give me that little bugger. That little one screwed down in there like a plug on a plug....I look over there and he's got that grin and ready to hand me the square one.
