Keep your eyes open Shane. Hear they spotted some black bears around Kernersville.
Gotta a little pool cleaning to do , then ride the mower around. Got some tree branches hanging too low , need to trim them back.

Oh , put a pot of spaghetti on. One of my favorites. Let it cook all day.

Friend and coworker that welded up door post on kids Blazer did the same thing around his place. Part of his property borders the Little Nemaha River. It's a nice little trail, fun for relaxing ATV cruise, then if desired one can run up and down the river, summer months it's more like a creek.

Morning everyone. Still Morning here for a little while anyways. I just helped load, completely load my car up with stuff my wife wants to take/donate to church for their large garage sale.
Contemplating change that other ball joint out today...still licking my wounds from yesterday though:rofl:

My biggest project been ongoing for over a decade. That would be the 1968 Corvette. So close to finishing...at least to the point of moving under power....the interior and convertible top be later.
Always little homeowner things crop up, then there's things like this old 4runner I drag home for no good reason :anonymous: other than I like old junk:confused::rofl:

Tons of stuff to do around here this summer! Guess the first spring/summer in a house will have that. Still have more landscaping to take a chainsaw to. I hate to cut down the previous owners hard work, but it's just too overgrown. All outside work for the summer, there's tons of painting to do inside, but that will hold off till fall/winter. Also some interior electrical needs done.

My garage is pretty much complete though!

Electrical was done as well. Two 20 amp circuits for outlets and one 15 amp for lighting. Plenty of power for what I do!

All this work (minus the garage door) was done all by myself. Might be all in for $6000. For reference, this is where it all started...

Thinking about this in the wee hours in this day and age quite possible switches get wired wrong or installed backwards or both.

O should be off 1 is complete circuit.

I think this is the only way I've ever seen it. Even a few of the large switches on some of the shop machinery at work, both old and new.

Projects far to many to list. Going for the ones I have all the parts for.

Build a 4x4 Celica just drop the body on a 4x4 pick up chassis.

    3.4 swap into a 86 4x4 pick up

finish a auto to manual swap on a 85 Celica.

    Put a rebuilt starter in my86 4Runner.

I am sure many others I forgot.

In reality changing oil is interesting.

Since I have no family it is really Strange everyone I have talked to over the years has no interest in me willing them my property go figure .

Oh, Boy, . . . Projects. Where to start?

Most of these have been in the works for years but never get finished.

    * Finish the deck renovation: 3-4 years ago tore down the 2-level deck and some of the house siding so I could get to the rotting sill under the door, so I could replace the entry door, so I could replace the storm door which is all SWMBO really cared about.

    * Finish the bathroom renovation: Last year replaced the toilet, vanity (with nice granite top) & medicine cabinet, along with paint & wallpaper. Still need to replace the laundry chute which was part of the vanity, plus the walk-in and closet doors. Figure out whether to keep the tub or install a walk-in shower. Install light over the vanity & some additional outlets.

    * Install mini split unit. My nephew installs the Mr Cool line - just need to decide what I want then let him know and hope he can fit it in. Probably won’t happen if I try to go the DIY route.

    * Re-stain the garage: Seems like I just finished building it, but it’s actually been 16 years.
    * Clean & organize the garage. Upstairs was supposed to be the woodworking shop but it’s just storage.

    * Take down the tree threatening the garage. Will need to rent a lift or hire someone to do this. Several other trees should probably come down but would definitely require profe$$ional tree removal.

    * 3 windows to be replaced - bought them about 6 years ago along with 2 that I actually installed but still haven’t installed the others or done the inside trim on the ones I did install.

    * Replace rotting wood landscape walls with stone or block walls.

    * Replace small, rotting utility shed with new, larger shed.

    * Add & level fill behind garage for camper parking; run power to site.

    * Ceiling in upper level of garage; add more outlets.

    Alright, time for a nap.
