I had a snake on my nightstand once -- after I got my heart rate down below 200 I got gloves and a pail and escorted him outside.

My favorite stereo receiver was found on the side of the road, been using it going on 15 years.
It was covered in that waxy, furry kind of material things stored in old barns get, took hours of cleaning.

Thank Odin I never had to deal with that.

I can only think there would have been some 12 gauge Bird shot holes to repair.

when I worked at Umaine I grabbed some off cuts out of the dumpster. they have a massive flo-jet hydro cutter thing in one of the research buildings. they were 5 feet long, 3 x 1.5 inches and i grabbed 4 of them. not a bad dumpster find!

My son Christian got us a neighborhood push mower to service  full tune up, sharpen blades and welded the rear wheel height adjuster handle back on... 70.00 total. She says that’s all!! I says yes and thank you. Really zero overhead and I’m teaching my son something and being paid for it.... I gave most of it to my son... good day it was... hope you boys had a good one

She was overwhelmed that 1-she didn’t have to go anywhere to drop it off and 2 it didn’t cost an arm and a leg :fistbump:.... I had parts in stock... Iv been buying extra parts now since we’ve been getting busy with this stuff. Good stuff. Also she knows several people who may be inclined to take advantage of our service .... :D
