Does "making things" count if I'm working on something for my Tacoma at my kitchen counter? :p

Well that kind of sucked. I wanted to also do the TRD in charcoal to match the factory badge on the doors but after that I'm undetermined. o_O

Guy I bought this mower from gave me a spare engine, got the starter off of it and replaced mine today on the mower after the wife got back from hunting and took over the store.

Tailgate tested on the back of the taco.

Replaced the pump belt while I was under it.

Had two standing by to test drive for me.

Went ahead and put the vacuum on and mowed the yard.

They drilled holes and stuff while I replaced starter. Made sure they both had safety glasses this time.

Welp, spent part of the day with my boy finishing up the last details of his go kart project.
Runs and stops great when I tested it at full throttle range, but running into an issue setting the throttle low for him to get used to it. With the throttle restricted for him the centrifugal clutch won’t engage. Seems like all of these clutches engage at 2,000-2,600 RPM which is pretty high with the current gearing.
This will be his first gas powered vehicle, so he’s slightly intimidated by it (which is a good thing in my book, I like the idea that he respects the speed/power).
He said he might try it out tomorrow.

Wonder why he wanted it milled like that kinda odd and doesn't leave much to put a connector on it unless he's going to weld some sort of new offset tube to it or something. That'll be a cool car once it's done especially if it's a way older caprice.

He was welding a short flange on it to change the angle because of the way it set

Been using the torch to thaw it out but every time I turn it back on it freezes up again. The man that helped me install it a few months ago is on his way to check it out.

It doesn't fix the underlying problem but short term can you put a fan on it to circulate some air to keep the ice from building up?

I talked to my Refrigiration guy and he told me to turn it off and heat it with a torch to unthaw it. It’s gotten it a lot better and seems to be cooling. He should be here shortly, he lives about an hour away.

What would cause it to freeze like that? I know in automotive if we had an issue with the orifice tube or expansion valve it could cause some issues like that. Heard guys talk about this on home AC but never seen it. It's got my curiosity, but I don't know how they work really in this format.
