Well, she found one. 2022 DCLB TRD Offroad in Army Green. Apparently, there were only like 5 in the entire country. We drove 10 hours to pick this one up in Santa Fe from the Toyota Dealership. 100% stock except for some aftermarket seat heaters that will absolutely roast your rear end. She's pretty stoked.PXL_20241216_233140767.MP.jpg

We already hate the intermittent Apple Carplay/Android Auto. We've already realized we're gonna need some seat jackers asap. My butt hurts from that drive home.

And, why in the hell do the fog lights turn off when you turn the high beams on? That seems silly to me.

If you buy a 2016-2020 make sure the vin starts with the number 5 and not a 3.

VINs starting with 5 were assembled in the U.S., VINs starting with 3 were assembled in Mexico. I've had both. U.S. assembled are superior. My current is a 3; It's a good truck but I've put a great deal of effort and money into fixing its flaws.

Mine starts with a 3, built in Mexico. So far at 156k it’s been pretty good. I do have a little weep from timing seal, nothing bad. Just monitor it weekly.

Welcome to the trail Limo team!

Don’t listen to people saying it’s bad if it’s built in Mexico. These trucks kick ass and you will enjoy it for as long as you want to drive it!

I have a 2020 TRD Sport purchased new 5 years ago on the 30th of this month. No issues to date. I would recommend the long bed with a manual transmission, but I've never owned anything without a manual transmission in 55 years of vehicle ownership, so, I am biased that way.
