    Hello all,
Long time lurker, first time poster here! Im currently driving a 2000 4runner and am ready for something new. I've wanted a Tacoma TRD Pro since they came out, and am currently shopping around for one. I live in SoCal, and as I'm sure many of you are aware, the dealers around here are marking the price up like crazy! I am an airline pilot and can travel anywhere for free, so I open to picking one up somewhere and driving it home. Does anybody know of a dealer that is selling them for MSRP?
    Thanks a lot!
    Ryan

Got mine at Frank Toyota in National City for MSRP. As far as I know, there and Temecula are the only dealers selling without markup in SoCal.

If you are ever out in MA on a flight, I got an offer 2k under MSRP for a blue one a few months ago from a local dealer. It sounds like basically anywhere BUT california would be a good place to shop.

I think you'll find that most dealers outside of the few hotspots in California will order one for you and sell for MSRP or under but getting one off the lot may be a different story.

Your timeline may vary, but I ordered mine on 2/14 and it's getting delivered on 3/27, a small price to pay to not deal with any sort of markup.

Gotta love SoCal! I don’t know if I should feel sorry or envious for the people who pay those mark-ups. Must be nice to blow money like that.

Just because dealers ask ADM, don’t assume they get it ;)

Additionally, Taco BROS spend $10k modifying their new trucks with RTT , snorkel, lifts , fake bead locks wheels and must have ko2 just to look expedition ready while going to Starbucks with armor all on their tires

What’s the difference between blowing money on frivolous poseur things vs the guys paying markup?

I try not to judge how others spend their money

OP - ever consider purchasing a TRD OR with Tech and Premium packages and using the extra 10k for better parts than the pro offers? Just a thought you may consider...

We picked up our 2018 Pro at MSRP. Both Walnut Creek and Concord Toyota offered the same deal.

Where's the extra 10k you speaketh of? The MSRP difference of a TRD OR (DCSB Auto) with premium and tech is only $4k less than an automatic pro and roughly $5k'ish when comparing manuals.

Not to say 4k isn't a huge gap as you're still getting an awesome truck, more color options (i.e. Cement, the best color ever), a better stereo, etc but it's definitely not a $10k gap once you start piling on the packages.

thats if he finds one at MSRP. TRD OR you can get under MSRP no problem. I got mine close to invoice. My trucks sale price compared to a PRO at MSRP is close to 10K

I recommend you give edmunds.com a try for researching and pricing in specific areas. I used them when I bought my truck (not a pro). It was a great way to "build" the truck I wanted and then have local dealers email me trucks on their lots that matched my build specs and the price they'd sell them for. For example, here are the results for all pro's in the Denver area...

    https://www.edmunds.com/inventory/srp.html?make=Toyota&model=Tacoma&radius=50&sub=Tacoma Double Cab&trim=trd-pro&year=2018-2018&zip=80005
