I'm in the market for an upgrade from my '99 Ranger, and everyone I know that has one loves their Tacoma. So I come to the place that seems to be all about what I need to know! I'll try to figure out the search function to avoid asking all the same ???'s that you folks must get all the time. I'm in Ct. and work at the Mystic Seaport Museum, in their shipyard. Rigging, woodworking and metalworking....Glad to be here.

Welcome, I lived in New Milford, Ct for a bit before moving out here to Seattle, been to that museum a few times. I have a 2001 and a 2016 taco, gave the 01 to my son, love them both. You will be addicted to this site :)

Too poor to list anything interesting.
I went from a 2000 ranger to a 2014 4wd DBSB (master truck race), the difference is night and day. Everything was an improvement for me. I have the base model, and even stock felt like a dream ride. Everyone can bitch all they want on here about their truck not riding like a luxury vehicle, but take it all with a grain of salt. Take your time, look around, and always remember there's options for everyone.

    And of course

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.

    Same as everybody else...
Welcome to TW! My first truck is a 99 Ranger flareside that I still have but felt like I better upgrade so I got a 09 Prerunner. The Ranger is a great truck but the years are catching up to her, I blew a brake line out and still need to get it fixed. The Taco is like a spaceship compared to my trusty old Ranger.
