Shopping for trailer hitch - Good sales around now..?

My base Tacoma will need a trailer hitch, need to move some stuff soon. Looking for regular type, nothing fancy.

Any good sales, typically, around this time of year (July 4th, etc.)?

Wouldn't the shipping cost to East coast be a bit much..?

 

I just bought and installed a Valley Industries receiver hitch on my Tacoma. I got it in eBay for $90, and that included shipping. I was a little skeptical when I first saw it, but did a little research and the only complaints I saw were about scuffs suffered in shipping. Ordered it on Monday and got it on Thursday. It's really well made and everything aligned perfectly. I installed it and a Curt Mfg. wiring harness this morning in about an hour and 15 minutes. I would highly recommend it. By the way, it was new and that was the "Buy now" price.
