you can and should do this yourself. It will take you a half day at most, likely just a few hours.

Try Lolo overland. Not positive, because i haven’t asked the specific question; but I know they do other electrical components.

I was the same way, then I watched a few you tube videos. really not bad. Get the Off Grid Engineering Kit. Best there is. You don't need the overpriced redarc stuff unless you are integrating constant (mounted) solar. Matt (owner of Off Grid) will talk to you for as long as it takes to get you comfortable. Awesome quality product with awesome customer service. He includes everything you need in the kit. Watch his You Tube installation video in particular to get an idea of how simple it is.

I want to mount mine in the bed or behind the rear seat... Where did you mount yours?

you could do that, but it would be a fairly long run of 2 gauge wire. you'll lose a lot of power that way. I prefer to have the batteries closer then run smaller gauge wires (but still large enough for a fridge, like 12 gauge) to the bed. Most 3rd gen owners put both batteries side by side in the stock location or put one up near windshield on the passenger side. Off Grid offers kits both both of those. I have no affiliation with them, I just really like the company and their product.

I agree this is a good lead in project. It doesn’t always explode battery acid in your face and fires eventually go out.

Ok ok yes there are probably a zillion videos on YouTube. Just watch the polarization and figure out your isolation on paper.

I'd be weary of two batteries in the stock location if you offroad much. There's TONS of people on here that have cracked their core supports with just a stock battery. Two in that location is alot of weight for that sheet metal to support.
