Hi guys, I just joined this forum. I have had an 08 Doublecab 4x2 TRD Sport Longbed since it was new. Yesterday I just completed the deal on a 2010 Doublecab 4x4 TRD Sport Shortbed. I will take delivery on Tuesday. I am wondering if I am going to regret getting a shortbed after having a longbed for so long. Why I originally did it was because the Doublecab longbeds seemed to be a little difficult to park in crowded parking lots, I thought the shortbed might help with this. Anybody else dislike their shortbeds for any reason? When I test drove they drove about the same. Any reason for regrets??

What do you use the truck for? I don't use mine for work so a shortbed is enough for the occasional use. There is no way a longbed would fit in my garage.

I use it more for a daily driver and maneuverability is needed than hauling. I think I will just get a bed-extender and not look back. This was my original logic and then last night my wife saw a shortbed and commented how short it looked and got me thinking. I am getting a new truck because I didnt get exactly what I wanted 2 yrs ago. I am adding 4x4 and towing package this time plus going from silver to Speedway blue;) It matches my Electron Blue Z06....whatta pair it will be

Thanks for the help and opinions.
