    Rocking a custom stock S2000 antenna. The reception isn't too bad..

    Believe me, other people don't notice them.

    same here but I only listen to Sirius. love the look but can't comment on its reception quality.

    Attach your antenna connection to a SWR meter and you will see a difference.

    It does not matter these days as radio stations have multiple transmitting antennas going at thousands of watts.

    I replaced my original with a 14" from Canadian Tire shortly after I bought the truck because of my carport..it would have been just a matter of time before the original would have snapped.I really don't notice any loss of reception.

    I got tired of mine hitting the garage door so I took a hacksaw to mine.... and Voila!!!! Shorty antenna and so far haven't noticed any difference!!!

    I had the same issue. I really liked the look but the reception was terrible. Especially since most of the radio signals from my city come from the mtn, I figured i'd get good reception with it. After putting it on for a couple days I decided just to chop mine 6" so it didnt hit to garage door when pulling in.

    3" lift using Fox Shocks Coilover, Total Chaos UCA's. Running: Duratrac 285/70/17 Rear suspension just a 1" block for now. Will have custom rear springs no block. Fox w/ Resi.
    And you like it I take it? Lost some reception right?
