Shortly Antenna's, Who has them?

Rocking a custom stock S2000 antenna. The reception isn't too bad..

 

I just put on a Metra "Raptor" mast on mine. 14" flexible, only $6 at AutoZone.

 

You're all crazy if you think your stock antenna is ugly.

Believe me, other people don't notice them.

 

same here but I only listen to Sirius. love the look but can't comment on its reception quality.

and no loss of reception

works same as original

 

and i'm not crazy either

 

i put on a shorty because the original hit an overhead sign
in the parking garage where i work

 

yea, thats the reason i switched. got tired of waiting for it to snap on the door while pulling in the garage.

 

I have a black 6" from brandsport.com

 

Attach your antenna connection to a SWR meter and you will see a difference.

It does not matter these days as radio stations have multiple transmitting antennas going at thousands of watts.

 

eh cuz, how's the reception on your antenna?

 

I got an AntennaX a few months ago and reception is the same as with the stock.

 

I replaced my original with a 14" from Canadian Tire shortly after I bought the truck because of my carport..it would have been just a matter of time before the original would have snapped.I really don't notice any loss of reception.

 

Cherry cuz, nit as good as stock but good enough, still catch back side, das all that matters

I got tired of mine hitting the garage door so I took a hacksaw to mine.... and Voila!!!! Shorty antenna and so far haven't noticed any difference!!!

 

I had the same issue. I really liked the look but the reception was terrible. Especially since most of the radio signals from my city come from the mtn, I figured i'd get good reception with it. After putting it on for a couple days I decided just to chop mine 6" so it didnt hit to garage door when pulling in.

 

I just cut mind..still works good

 

And you like it I take it? Lost some reception right?
