    I'd been considering this for a week or so, will probably get one, not terribly expensive and not a fan of the long antenna.

    I rarely listen to the radio since Bob and Tom are not on in my area anymore.

    32in I got an 8in stubby and lost all but one or two stations but that's all I really need...

    I tried one of the Metra shortys.

    Didnt' like it.

    Idea was to make it less noticeable.

    All I could do was stare at that fat little thing.

    It came back off.

    I got the one that came off of neons list... not the powder white one but yeah i like it in my case my radio stations actually started coming in clearer

    I have a 13" and I have not noticed any loss of signal

    although I do live in a big city, and listen to iPod most of the time.

    If I just cut my stock antenna a few inches shorter, will it fall apart or anything? I was thinkin about a stubby but I want to use my antenna as a clearance marker for parking garages, etc. I want it to be just barley taller than the roof of my truck. Currently it's a little too high. Thanks.

    No. Lot of guys went this route. Seems you can get away cutting off 8-10 inches and still have good reception.

    I don't EVER use my radio, so reception isn't of concern to me. It's a little more "flashy" than I wanted. Might go with a plain black plastic one with the cone tapper at the bottom.
