According to the door sticker the stock tire size for my truck is 265/65 R17, however the dealer put new 265/70 r17 Terra Grapplers on it before I bought it. I don't see any evidence of rubbing looking from the outside, but when I'm driving and turning I swear I can hear some rubbing from the front passenger tire. Should this size be rubbing? And if so, what can I do to eliminate it?

Do you have stock wheels or aftermarket ones?

If your caster is on the low side you might rub a bit on the mud flaps

Every truck will be a little different and there are alot of factors. Tire style, wheel back space, alignment numbers.

With that size probably not but if you hear rubbing it's not totally unheard of. Take the wheel off and look in the wheel well to see where it is rubbing. You should be able to see rub marks

Here's a pic of the tires and wheel wells. No sign of rubbing. (Flash makes it look dirtier).

I actually did install some mud flaps I bought off eBay, and that's when I started hearing it. I'll have to get the alignment checked.

Check the cab corners where the mud flap mounts. Especially check the cab mount itself. If your alignment is off it could rub there

Also check your upper control arms. Maybe the side of the tire is rubbing there.

    Oops meant frame

This might be the wrong forum for this question but I have 13' trd sport and looking into new wheels and tires. I have a stock suspension. Does anyone see an issues running these?

    Pro comp 5001, 17x9, offset: 6.6, backspace:4.75 with Nitto Terra Grapler G2 265/70 17.

Or should I run 17x8, offset: 0, backspace: 4.5 with the same tire? I would prefer not to do any cutting to make it fit. I appreciate any help.
