I really think my Taco must be broken, it doesn't gear hunt and it shifts pretty damn good.
I have some uphill and downhills both ways on my daily commute too.

 

Somebody had a complaint about a safe. The complaint was promptly filed downstairs.

 

Yup, it's definitely broken or you got a Wednesday truck instead of a Monday or Friday truck.

Got it in the garage drying as I just laid a coat of paint on it but here it is 95% done

1. Transmission needs to learn your style of driving.
2. Drive with ECT on.
3. Test drive the vehicle before dropping $40k on it.
4. My auto trans shifts just fine.
5. You’re a dummy (IMO)

 

Get a ShiftSense Pro and a Pedal Commander. It will be a completely different truck and drive like it should. Simple install on both.

 

When I test drove my Taco. (Ive had 4 other 4x4s which were legit garbage. Jeep Im looking RIGHT at you. Aint NOTHING grand about a grand cherokee Limited. Limited means it gets stuck in light mud)

When I test drove my taco. I was about 200 yards from some uneven train tracks. I punched it hard.. my wife YELLED AT ME and grabbed her seat. (This sold it for me) Hit them tracks The accelleration was awesome and the suspension response was more of the same.
