Check out my build thread (Beginning of Money Pit)
I would go with a 45. Desert eagles are heavy, high kick back( wich depending on you skill, would provide low accuracy) and ammo is around 1$ a round. a nice 1911(springfield, kimber, wilson combat, )is always good for me. but, if u want a tac polymer, i would go with the USP 45.. My bros got one with the threaded barrel. Its epic. but, whatever u need a (large Caliber) i will tell u that a well placed .22 can do just as well. So, for $ wise, i would just go for a six shooter.Yes I said it. 357. that way, if u wanna shoot all day u can shoot 38 sp, or change up to 357. But dont question the power of a 38 special +P and hollow pointed.:). for soft targets i like 40 cal JHP (hydoshocks).............Just my 02.

    Happy Shooting:quickdraw:

    I'm leaning towards Glock 17 or 19 Gen4 :)

They seem to be the most durable and reliable. That is important...
