I love my sunroof so that I can give friendly gestures to the drivers around me. :anonymous:

I love my sunroof. The open sunroof plus the slid open back window will give you a nice breeze for cruising the mall parking lot. I do wish you didn't lose an inch of headroom with the sunroof added on.

I am avoiding moon/sun roofs. I had leakage and condensation issues in my old one. Then the open/close mechanism broke in the Highlander. Dealer wanted 3k to fix.

Center console divider thingy, rubber bed mat and side steps for the wife.
I would not purchase a vehicle without one, I have had them for years without issue. As far as the headroom, I am 6'4" and have no issue, it is all where your height is located at, mine is in my legs mostly I guess. You short guys that touch the roof must be some lanky mofo's.

They said it was the gasket broken down now full disclaimer I brought it in without even looking at it myself after noticing water coming in during heavy rain so it’s possible it was clogged and they cleaned out the drain while replacing the gasket and that fixed the issue, I just left the truck with them for 2 weeks and it was fixed when I came back.

I have that same rattle in my headliner! Did you have anything done to it?

I love the sunroof / moonroof in my Limited. It's availability is both why I chose the Tacoma and the Limited trim level. I use it all the time. It is open right now.

No. I never went back. I’m worried about them messing up the interior when they take it all apart. Learned to live with it and just turn up the radio. And that area only rattles when it’s hot out, but I get a different rattle in the front when it’s cold.

Although I have the Moonroof and it has not posed any issues, I would have gladly opted out. Unfortunately that wasn't possible with the trim and option I wanted.

My biggest and really only complaint about the Moonroof, is it eats up head room with the drop down headliner. Not to mention I never use it.

    It's complicated.
I have the moonroof, and I love it. I wouldn't want my truck to not have it.

With that said, I'm also aware of complaints about water leaking around the seal--which hasn't occurred yet. To try and prevent or minimize the chances of that happening, I routinely apply a silicone lubricant to the seal (inside & out) using a small sponge (while wearing nytril gloves--don't forget the gloves!) That *should* keep the seal supple, and from drying out and cracking. Fingers crossed
