I just find it interesting to see one in use. My former company is the largest mfg. of them, among other pipeline products. There is 100% chance that I or someone who worked for me cut the pipe/tubing used, my friend machined it and my other friends braided and welded it.

I think you got a good deal. I bought a 2009 Tacoma TRD Pro with 70k miles from a dealer. Paid $19k three years ago. Carfax was good but no other service history. I am definitely a DIYer. I did the following once I got the truck

    Oil and filter
    Transmission fluid and filter.
    OEM spark plugs
    Thermostat and cooling hoses
Front brakes and rotors, rear brakes were fine
    Flushed and refilled brake fluid
    Changed Differential fluid
    Drained and filled radiator
No rust issues as car has been in California all its life.
There was a recall on the rear leaf springs. Brought it to the dealer had them replaced for free
    New tires recently

The driver and passenger power locks stopped working. Dealer wanted $500 for each unit. I found Instruction on this forum on how to fix them. Took them apart cleaning electrical junk off shaft and re-installed them. They work perfectly now.

Installed a new Kenwood stereo with conversion kit from Crutchfield.

it runs and drives like it’s new and has had zero problems after 3 years. I bought for my son who went away to college. He loves it and said he plans on keeping it until it dies. Even if he decides to sell it in the future he will get a good price. Have always been a Honda family but I don’t like the Ridgeline. I am amazed at how smooth it rides even at 90 mph. Amazing vehicle.
