At the dealer........ in the shark tank. 2008 DCSB, 89,000mi, 20500 otd. Yay or nay. It's really nice.... the best I've looked at so far. I'm willing to pay up but don't want to get screwed.

Still can take a pic of some sort. And yes crawl underneath that thing and look around. And don't trust a Carfax report, if have any good mechanics. Bring to them so they can look for accidents, or any other issues.

Poor guy, they're probably having fake shils come in to "buy" it out from under him while we type. :)

    ^^ Hahahaha! It's a TRD Offroad

No shills yet. I got underneath and it looks legit. I'm in the auto trades and worked on cars for years. Doors line up, recalls done, no signs of paintwork. The frame has been coated by Toyota.

    Whole lotta stuff
Yeah I would assume Toyota would have taken care of any frame corrosion seeing as they just issued the limited service campaign recalling 2005-2008 for frame inspection in the case of corrosion. Even if it looks legit, it doesn't hurt to ask them if the frame has been properly inspected given the recall. Good luck! :)

Make sure the frame has been properly inspected even after the recall coating from Toyota.Good luck!

Whelp..... it didn't happen. High pressure, end run sales techniques and I felt like something wasn't right so I backed out. It was probably a good deal but I've got to go with my instincts. I'm going to look at a private party 09 Sport tomorrow.

Thanks for the input guys. I'll keep you posted on the one I look at tomorrow.

It's a moot point now since you didn't buy it but something looks off about that shell. I'm pretty sure it wasn't meant for that model truck. Too high above the cab, and the sides don't look flush.

Well... I bought the black one. Offered $18k and she accepted. Very psyched as it's the nicest one I've looked at. The wheels need to be refinished but otherwise it's in exceptional condition. Picking it up Monday
