Should I ceramic coat my 4th gen?

    Truth. I went from 0 to hero after a watching a few videos, doing my wife's car first and then my truck. It's idiot simple. The fact that there's a detail shop on about every corner should tell you the skill level involved in this. I think you can do just fine with the $20-40 ceramic coatings from Ali or Amazon. It's about 99% prep. Start with a buddy's car if you don't have a second vehicle. Do it for free as practice.

    About $200 in supplies, 4 hours and you're set.

    Polishing machine, pads, chemical, compound, and some time. That's it.

    You really have to try to screw up paint with random orbital polishers too. Very easy to learn.
