I would like full sound experience but really dont want to mess with the component install...
Would I really miss the tweeters being up high on the door? (cant even hear them now)
I plan on using a Dynamat type product on the door

    opinions appreciated

I just swapped my high end Focal components for some basic Kicker coaxials cuz i wanted to see if the Focals really sounded much better....

At first impression it was obvious the sound was coming from my feet, and was definitely different. Worse? Meh, not really, just different. You'd get used to it, but i do like the staging of components better. And wiring them is pretty easy, i just ran my own wire to the door and didnt think about using the factory wiring.

you will definitely shorten your soundstage if you do not choose to replace the driver in the "tweeter" location of your door.

using dynamat or any type of sound deadening material will only help with heavy bass and concert levels of volume
