So I was wondering does dumping the exhaust over the back axle change the sound cause I am getting a flowmaster and am thinking about dumping it over axle

I dont know your taste in exhaust but the previous owner of my truck had the flowmaster dumped and its pretty annoying and tons of drone. If you do dump your exhaust have it extended about a foot past the muffler with a turn down
