Option A) rebuild the stock LCA with a Moog BJ, new energy bushings. Keep by Camburg UCA (ball joint style). And get an AllPro/Icon setup for the rear end.

Option B) buy a TC LCA and UCA with SS Uniballs, rid my life of ball joints, and keep the stock rear leafs, shocks and my 1" block until next year.

Either way I'm going to get a set of Icon extended travel coil overs for the front.

ETA: I live in southern PA, so salt is something of an issue.

How long are they lasting in Mass? I used to live in Worcester, the salt ate everything :)

Seems like balljoints require less maintenance and last longer than uniballs. Certain balljoints have more travel than most uniballs so I don't see the advantage of using uniballs over balljoints?

Email SPC about the travel of their balljoints and compare it to your uniball setup.

Well I asked if you had any, not to email X company about their claims. Also SPC has had a lot of failures in their ball joints but good luck with that.

My understanding is that Uni-Balls are much easier to re-built than ball-joints, no?

You don't "rebuild" balljoints. You just replace them every 100k miles or so.

Right, and so far I've not seen any discussing how easy or fun that job is :) It looks doable, but much cussing and breaking shit.

The Uni-Ball guys then chime in with snark about how easy it is to re-built...

Also I got 60k, over 2.5 years, on my stock Ball-joints.

I am hard on Ball-joints apparently. Not the first time I've killed a set...

comparing SPC BJs to uniballs is asinine.

SPC to anything of quality is a joke.
