    Sounds like you need a lawyer. But again, that doesn't give you a quick fix or solution to help you right now, and could delay the process much longer than you'd hope. It would be extremely expensive to be in a rental for the entire duration of a settlement to take place. Thats the only reason I suggested talking to your insurance to see what they'd say or recommend. At the very least, I hope you've spoken to someone at the gas station in question to ask if any other reports have made it back to them. Who knows, it could be a known issue at this point, or you could be the next customer needed for it to become a known issue.
