Should I paint my Billet grille black ?

Should I undercoat my Grille inserts black? I undercoated the lower bumper grille and kinda like it.

 

I thought about using that same or similar grill and I was going to powdercoat it black. I just havent got to that yet... But something like that is really a personal choice.

Also... I am building a light bar similar to yours... can you tell me how much room is between the bumper and the back of the light bar? AND... what are the dimensions of the light tabs..

search fourwheelparts.com for smitty-built light bar. That's where I bought it. It's roughly about 2" from bumper..Tabs roughly 1"x1" for light attachment.

 

Not a fan of billet grilles in general, but especially don't like the chrome.

Paint it black.

Thanks for the input guys. Grille is off the truck and being painted black right now. Decided to ditch the hood scoop grille, keep it simple..Thanks TW..
