Should I paint my tailights?

    I've did it on mine, fully paint the tailight and the bedlight

    did u have a hard time doing the third brake light? mine kept cracking so i sanded it off and then cleaned it and wet sanded again and cut TRD out so when it cracked the second time it looks like the cracks were ment to be there!

    yeah, i got hard time with it too, like you, I sand it, wet sand and try to polish but still kept cracking and, paint it and the crack is still there, if you look too close you can them :p

    2.7L 3RZ,K&N filter, 4" deck plate mod,flowmaster 40 series,3" suspension lift, hybrid 52"chevy/toyota rear springs.
    guys maybe too late for some of you but I paint the INSIDE of the lights that way it cant get scratched off... even if you get a light scratch its just the lens and does nothing to the tint.. also the inside is usually alot cleaner so little soap and water and ready for paint

    didnt think about that, but good idea. the red and orange dont show through alot more with he tint being on the inside of the lense?

    you can see the color a bit but I like it I even had a cop question me on them if they were covers and I said no stock lights... he took fingernail and scrathed at the one and looked to see if it had the dot-sae number on it (which it did since its a stock lens)

    sorry none of the pics are great (oh and dont mind the ms paint work on tailgate lol)

    No, mine just got all messed up when i tried to spray clear over them, I'm not sure what happened. So I wet sanded until it started taking off the tint and sprayed another coat of niteshades to even it all out.
