Picking some wheels up tomorrow for my new combo, going down to 16s and 265s now for highway driving.
Just steel wheels. I am painting them black.

Should I paint the insides too? Thanks.

RIP to my 08 Prerunner DC
I didn't. The over spray went in there and you could never tell. I just have the stock base wheels.

    You might as well.

You already have the wheels off, and are painting them... why do half the job?

You definitely don't need to do nearly as many coats as the outside. But if you're anything like me, you will see the unpainted inside every time you are under the truck, or from the front when you have the wheels cranked, and that would annoy me.

Painted them yesterday...Looked great and then the sprinklers went off as soon as I got my 2nd coat on!

Anyone know how to strip a wheel and start over? Just sand until I get to the bottom?

Yeah, they aren't too bad but you can see the water marks.
