Should I pretreat new OEM steels before running as winter set?

    decided to go with 4 OE steel wheels for a winter wheel/tire combo. I believe they’re just painted. Should I do something to these before I mount tires and bolt onto the truck? Or as long as I wash them often during winter months I’ll be okay?

    I'm not sure what you could treat them with. In my opinion (and personal experience), they will eventually start to rust and there's not much you can do about it.
