$42.7k out the door after taxes. 2020 SR automatic 4x4 with 9500 miles. Still under warranty. Was hoping for a moon roof but I can’t afford a Pro..

Mostly electrical shit that nobody cares about.
Actually, with all the stuff done to it, you're not very far above MSRP. Send it.

It’s a high in price even with the bumper and rack. Go on Toyotas website and build it out. That truck is 35k new MSRP. Gear on it isn’t worth near that.

My thoughts as well. That's big bank for an SR pkg. You can get a sunroof without buying a Pro if you get a TRD Premium pkg. I'm more of a "no holes in the roof" kinda guy so I did the TRD OR but w/o the Premium pkg. Your price is exactly what I paid for my TRD OR DCLB 4x4 brand new exactly a year ago when shit was hot and heavy and you couldn't find a truck. Is it that way still? I'm seeing new TRD's on the lots of my 2 local dealers but I haven't been keeping up with how things are going since I've got what I need. That just seems high for a USED SR.

I'd also NOT buy a truck where the body was chopped up by somebody. Not a chance. Start fresh and take it where you want it.

$42.7k otd is more than I paid for my '22 off road, brand new. Hard pass for me for an SR at that price point.

And while the mods might look appealing now? If that crap was ham-fisted in, or they hacked the wiring to shit splicing in those lights, it could be a bigger hassle than it's worth to make it right. There's a reason why the previous owner got rid of it and left that junk on there. Food for thought.

I'd buy new and build my own.
Researching on mods, pulling out your credit card to order stuff, anxiously waiting for them to arrive, unboxing and trying to figure out the heck is going on, attempting to install them and hopefully all done right. All of this is fun if you enjoy it.

It's like you buy LEGO kit unassembled, not the fully built out ones.

Unless, you can negotiate 50 cents on the dollar for the value of the upgrades, maybe yes.

Definitely wait and get one with 5-10(not thousand) miles. For the same price or cheaper. I almost did the same thing via carmax… my fully loaded trd OR LB 22’ with 7 miles on it was $80 more a month/same 5 years… then the carmax truck w 20k miles and not optd out like I wanted.

Also, when the dealer priced that truck for the trade in offer, guaranteed the PO was told all that aftermarket stuff wasn't worth shit and he got pennies on the dollar for it. Of course, on this side of the deal, it's the most bad-ass stuff you can get and valued accordingly, hence the $42k!

I vote no as well, very close to the end of of the 22’s and only a year away from the Gen 4 release. You can get a better deal than that.
