Used cars are like used underwear. Sure you can wash them out and parade them around, but do you really want to? o_O

Having worked at a few dealers over the years you'd be surprised to know what is swept under the rug to sell a used car. Sometimes the dealer isn't aware of things and it's not discovered until a few months after the vehicle is sold.

Example, carfax takes a few months to update vehicle history. Buy a new TRD OR 4x4 instead. I bought my 2017 new for a reason.

Reach over and unlock the door for someone. Park it yourself. Let that bastard air out a minute before you sit down on hot sticky vinyl seating surfaces. Change the radio stations and realize it all sucks equally.

Does the sr come with fog lights? So that switch is aftermarket.
Another fun sr project would be intermittent wipers.

This truck looks like a VW Beetle, because 3rd gens are just as popular.

Thanks for the advice… glad I walked away, prices around me (So Cal) are awful right now and I kept trying to convince myself I liked the color but I want white or another dark blue truck anyways lol. I’ll look into a new Tacoma instead.

California prices are awful. In sept 2020 is when I got my truck. But I bought in New Mexico. I was given an allocation. It took 8 months to get my plates. The dmv doesn’t like it when you buy a truck out of state. They look it over, and you have to have it weighed and smogged. Plus the dealer used the wrong vin so that part was fun.

Just another reason I wish I could leave California. I would like to buy out of state but I’m worried a swat team would show up to inspect my tires then charge me $1000 for the service followed by a $500 certification fee.

I know people who drive Texas plates in California for YEARS, since they are not CA vehicles, they don't need to conform to CA regulations.

I just bought a 2020 TRD Off Road for $41000 so this seems a little high to me. 14000 miles.

The market is softening a little and it should be somewhat easier to find a Taco. This seller is out of touch. Buy new.
