There's nothing wrong with asking others opinions on their preferences. That's also how you learn shit. Damn why the fuck are people so fucking shallow and narrow minded these days? Yes, im talking about you.

And there’s nothing wrong with stating an opinion that differs from yours. Especially when it’s done mostly in jest. Damn, why the fuck are people such snow-flaky cucks that they are ultra sensitive to anyone with a differing opinion these days? And yes, Im talking about you.

Not sensitive, just don't see why you think people asking an opinion about something deserves a smart ass remark. Having the mentality of "i know it all, i dont need to ask anyone anything because I'm God" only gets you left behind in the dust.

Then why do you have that attitude? You’re going to get left behind in the dust if you don’t change...

Did my posts just now insinuate that I knew everything? No, i actually told you to stop making smart ass remarks about people asking others opinions. Quite the opposite actually, but I digress, can't have a debate with ignorance.

And who the fuck are you to tell me to stop doing anything? See the dichotomy here? You’re right about one thing, you can’t argue with ignorance. An old saying about a kettle and a pot comes to mind here...

And oh yeah, GFY. . .

Just what I want to do myself. Haven't spotted where that part is available --the black trim surround to replace the chrome-- or is that a Toyota part? Can't find it at the Toyota sites either... thanks, Biill

I don't mind the cheesegrater - but didn't like all the chrome; cast iron VHT to the rescue.

If the TRD Pro grille belonged to the lowest/chepaest SR trim level, would you still make the change? Be honest :)

I went with a rep Pro Grille. I did it because I'm lifted ~3" over stock height, and wanted to move the TSS sensor back closer to the factory position. Had no issues with the OEM grille though.

    Absolutely
The (cheap) availability of ‘heritage’ grille made it a no-brainer.
Cheese grater looks like shit to me

I was thinking of doing this over this long weekend. What did you use to color match the bezel. I was just going to black out the whole thing but I like the color matched bezel now that I see it. Please share details.

    Thanks,
    Shawn

I'm not sure of the part number but the bezel can be ordered through a dealership. It was around $90 when I bought mine about a year and a half ago.

I don’t mind the pro grille. I have my regular one plasti dipped right now. I think eventually if I buy one it won’t be a pro just because they’re pretty common
