Ok. so I am looking to get a newer 1st gen. 01-04 with low-ish miles. Ive been wanting to do some expensive mods to my truck lately(UCAs, coilovers etc.) and my dad suggested i get a newer Tacoma before i start dumping all kinds of money into the one i have now. My truck currently has 160,000 miles with no problems yet. But in the future if something does happen; i dont want to lose all the progress.

Should i take out my main mods before selling, or should i just leave them on if and when i sell my truck. Or should i cut my losses and start over?

The only things i would re use would be my brand new 5100s all around, AAL and my Magnaflow. Everything else is just for looks.

just save anything that is reusable, 5100, AAL, and magnaflow. if u sell ur truck youll end up starting from zero.

I agree, it's gonna take time to take it off, but it will be worth it when you get your new truck.

Cool. I was just curious what other people would do in this situation. Unless i can find a truck that is already modded out i will take my mods off.

Modded cars have less than desirable resale values. Bone stock sells better.
