The dog seems to be integral to his pickup strategy.
Itchy says he likes "wholesome" types.
Dunno how their opinions figure in that, but he thinks they're hot. :notsure:

I like em hot n' wholesome. If you can't bring them to grandma's house without her having a shit fit then they're not anything to hold and to have. The greatest generation grandma not no boomer grandma.

All the Subaru’s in my area are driven by Birkenstock sandal/tie dye shirt wearing women with “Coexist” and “Free Tibet’ bumper stickers on the back bumpers and I’m fairly certain they couldnt care less what I’m driving . That being said ... I know it can be frustrating to deal with quality issues on newer vehicles but toyota is still better than most .

Before I got a Subaru I'd go with a Miata.

I had an '04 WRX before my taco and it was awesome, and also kind of awful.

I did a lot of work to it but most of it was age related maintenance/ wear and tear stuff. Brakes all around, exhaust, valve cover gasket, evap canister, A/C condenser, recurring ABS light issue, sway bar end links is what I can remember. I did everything but the valve cover gasket, evap and A/C which were covered under the extended warranty I bought.

Overall it was dependable, never failed to start or get me where I needed to go. No turbo, engine, or transmission issues at all, everything was stock and still worked great when I sold it at 130k miles. Never burned any oil, maybe I got a fluke good one.

Ripping thru a foot of snow on the road in a turbo subie with snow tires is about as close to heaven on Earth as you can get in my opinion. I'd like another one someday, as a second car though.

If all you're wanting to do is take out Rachael, the cute new bartender with the Julia Roberts smile that just broke up with Tyler because he refuses to stop putting his rubber boots between the cab and the bed and his ex gf won't quit sending him inappropriate text messages even though he swears to Rachael that he told her to leave him alone although he tells all the boys at the farm supply store that he and the ex meet up on Thursday nights when Rachael is working happy hour to put herself through community college, then I would say don't do it.

Not for everyone for sure. Not to worry though, tail lights is probably all you'll be seeing, track or strip. :D

Guess that makes me a dog dad. I did not know that about myself. In fact I didn’t know it was a thing.
