No bs show me where what I didn't say isn't fact or true? And reinforcements? Wtf are you talking about? If anyone needs s life it's you since you can't seem to drop it and feel the need to defend your truck as if it's your child. Whatever you need to make yourself feel better dude.

Keep the 2015. I had the 2014 (until it was totaled) and in my opinion the last generation are better trucks.

No that was in response to 2016bbp, who insisted myself and everyone else in here "trolls" are delusional about third gen problems, you have a hard time comprehending dont you? I like the third gen, I like my 2nd gen and guess what I liked my 1st gen, OP was asking if he should trade his perfectly fine 2015 for a 2016, based on first year problems that some have and financial loss of trading in myself and others gave him our opinion.

    LMAO

You don`t see me on the other sections of this board running my mouth about my truck will outrun the 2nd Gens, it`s obvious you feel the need to make yourself feel better by running your mouth about 3rd Gen trucks that you do not even own.

You are delusional but still a hilarious troll.

By the way, I hope you talk like you have more sense on the job than you do on here, because the military does not take a liking to those with unstable minds. I am guessing that you have did a pretty good job of hiding it thus far.

    I agree

I bought my 3rd Gen because I was ready to get a new Taco, I wanted a new one about 5 years or more ago but I had to wait for Toyota to finally make a decent looking one again. If I wanted a sports car I would have bought one but I love my Taco`s.

The only reason that racing was brought up is because there is a clown on here that brought up the TTFL video that is nothing but deceptive BS, I proved the clown wrong, he does not like it because it made his fugly 2nd Gen look worse than it already looks.

Wow, great thread. Looks like some folks are in a bit of denial. Good thing some are having no problems with their 2016's but to deny there are serious issues amongst some owners that fly in the face of Toyota's selling point of "legendary reliability" is just plain stupid. Toyota gets resale for these things mainly because of the reliability reputation but if there is a reasonable amount of people who currently sell their 2016's, or will at some point in the future, and they have to explain they had to get the engine replaced, or the transmission replaced then the resale for that truck may fall which in turn effects a larger population of trucks. Ask the 2nd or 1st gen owners how much they are getting for resale on their trucks with replaced frames and I guarantee they took a big hit.

Have to agree with USAFX on fuel economy. Look to fuelly.com to obtain a proper sample size of 2016s on the road to determine overall average fuel economy. One or two guys providing anecdotal evidence that they are getting 23 mpg is useless. Good for you if that's the case but that's not what most owners are getting.

I'm currently working in Africa and see a hell of a lot of Nissan's on the road (along with a good number of Hilux's). These trucks are driven in conditions where you need a truck - if I could post videos of the roads we've been on your sphincter would close up and you would not be able to take a crap for a week. If something goes wrong out here there is no towing company to take you to the air conditioned dealership while you obtain a foot massage and drink a no fat latte, brought to you by the receptionist with too much makeup, tight dress and breast implants, while you wait for your truck to get fixed. It's taken to some dude in a shack who is self taught, has a few tools, access to electricity for a few hours a day and a 1950's era welder built in the soviet union. That's who fixes our truck out here so it better be reliable. The trucks here are not used for the pussy mall crawling that I see most trucks operating in Canada. If I bought a 2016 Tacoma and it needed a new tranny/engine then I would cut my losses and put money down on a 2016 Frontier - dated yes, ugly interior yes but I guarantee more reliable than a truck in it's first year of production.
