I wanted to buy the single ported 12" box with IDQ sub but I've heard a lot of negative things about them. Has anyone had a good experience with them? Also if you have this set up can you post a brief review?

Just find a local car audio shop and have them build you something if you don't want to build your own. That's what I did and I'm very happy with my setup. Taco tunes doesn't seem like it's worth the risk.

Haha I started a thread from my bad experience from them. I ordered from them. After 2 weeks I asked the when I would receive my package and never got a response. I called their shop 3 times left 3 messages and emailed them from 3 different emails. Still never got a respose. After a good month of no reply I tried again sending them a email and said I'm going to my back to cancle my order to get my money back. I got a reply withing 5 min.... I was so pissed off at that point. One guy made up a story that the package was lost in the mail. They will send another. Then didn't get a reply back after that. I emailed again and got a reply from someone else and they said I gave them a invalid address. Bottom line is. They are full of shit. Do not waist you money on them

Go with Mr. Marv he speaker adapters are incredible. If you let him know which front and rear speakers you are going with. He can make the mounts a perfect and snug fit. And his sub boxes are made top notch. I used Taco Tunes once. Took forever to get my stuff for my Double Cab. And my installer had to trim the speaker adapters down to get the door panels on.

For the rear you can use some universal spacers, if you were local to Sacramento I have a pair of front 6x9 ********* I got used and never used them. Some guys that dont want to spend $$$ they cut out the stock speakers out and use them as a spacer! It takes a little skill and some people would say its "ghetto" but works fine

I had a decent experience with *********, bought the 10" ported box for DCLB and the ID sub (like $600 bucks, maybe that's why it went well for me). Came in an orderly fashion, fitment wasnt perfect but i was able to make it work, and it sounds damn good! I inquired after the purchase about test tones and they replied.

I knew i was taking a gamble on them, but i won.
