To me the thing about the poppy patina is that it has uv protection and 2 parts with a hardener . . Havent tried it but (my 2010 super white still cherry lol) having some protection is better than nothing . Looking foward to seeing how that shinny car stuff works . For the price seems to be good .

    OME and worth every penny.
I'm thinking if you cleaned your truck off very well you could wipe on clear paint. Not going to weather well.

FWIW, I have a base coat '02 Ford with a rusty roof right now too. Had a clear coated Dodge (both white) that did ths also. It's just sun, wind and heat killing it.

anyone try the poppy’s patina wipe on clear or shiny car stuff?

im kind of sketched out about shiny car stuff
It doesn’t seem well known which is odd how given how common used cars with faded clear is. Am finding no discussion of it online

want to take advantage of rain to claybar, wash, wax and grease removed, Iron X, which requires water and will have the rain keep it wet and rinse it off
but that would go to waste if not putting a good coating on after
